The Fatcap Concept ‘s Work In the Community

As well as providing private and community approved murals for everyone to enjoy we also like to be involved in youth based programs. We see this as a very important step in the conservation and reduction of property damage in many areas. If done with the correct approach it can invoke a sense of community and teach more than just art. Currently we have members of our team who are deeply involved with youth projects through council initiatives. All our teachers hold working with children certificates. Our team has many years of experience working for councils and schools on multiple projects. Please contact us if you have any ideas or ways we can help your cause.

Sebastian…

Seb has been painting with aerosol for over ten years, and working in youth art programs for seven years. He is currently employed by Brimbank City Council’s Youth Services in the highly successful Urban Art program, as a youth art mentor and facilitator. This role entails the delivery of practical and conceptual spray painting and graffiti art workshops, primarily for local young people who have an interest in urban art, and who may be involved in illegal graffiti.

In addition to Brimbank, Seb has worked with councils throughout Melbourne and Victoria, to engage local young artists in workshops and produce outcomes which can span drawing, painting, design and large, collaborative public murals. He has worked with councils ranging from Yarra, Melton, Maribyrnong, Whittlesea and Hobson’s Bay, to Hume, Mitchell, Cardinia, Loddon and Macedon. He has also worked in similar capacities with organisations such as STREAT, Create Foundation and Berry Street, and delivered street art workshops with Blackburn High School and Copperfield College.

Alongside his work in the youth arts sector, Sebastian also maintains a professional art practice, producing large scale drawings and paintings, both in the studio, and on public walls in various areas of Melbourne and internationally. Sebastian works as a professional artist, creating large murals for public, private and corporate clients, as well as in conjunction with events and festivals.
